Mail boxes, lamp posts, doors, etc. are decorated with hydrangea-colored ribbons, flowers and wreaths. Free shuttles are provided for in-town events. Free parking is provided at Douglas County High School, the Courthouse located on Hospital Drive, and the downtown parking garage. Food and drinks are available for purchase in an outdoor café located on the grounds of the Courthouse as well as several restaurants in the downtown area. You will be amazed by the beautiful items for sale in the artisan’s market and be able to purchase our signature hydrangeas, as well as many other plants, in the flower market. Tickets will be available for garden tours and there will be a standard flower show that has been consistently recognized nationally for its excellence. Stay tuned here for all the details.

The fishing derby includes a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and beverages in partnership with Widow’s Son Lodge #4.  Registered participants will also receive an event t-shirt while supplies last.
