Youth 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament @ Arbor Place Mall

We host 3 on 3, double elimination, basketball tournaments that take place at outdoor public areas. We cater to youth ages 8-18. Each team of 3-5 players’ battle through a series of double elimination rounds with the top teams in each division receiving trophies at the end of the day. The divisions are broken down by age (8-11, 12-14, & 15-18) the tournament is coed and we highly encourage girl participation. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, meal, and drink. The director and staff of the tournament have a passion for basketball and outdoor activities for youth. We promote physical fitness activities for youth. The tournament is FREE to all students ages 8-18. Please also pass the word to students and people that want to volunteer. Join the American Legion for its 5th annual car and bike show, all classes welcomed. Don’t forget to bring the kids to as there will be activities for them too. Cost to add your vehicle in the show is $15 if you preregister or $20 the day of the show. Cost to attend is free. The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County, in partnership with the City of Douglasville, is ready to celebrate Spring with the community’s most popular event of the year, the annual Taste of Douglasville! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 18th from 11 am -5 pm. RSVP to stay up-to-date with all the news updates! What is TASTE OF DOUGLASVILLE? + A restaurant/ business showcase + Exciting performances on stage + Community booths for products and services + A children’s entertainment area of art, exploration, and merriment. Each year, participants not only enjoy Taste of Douglasville, but they also help the Cultural Arts Council support school programs reaching local students, providing affordable spring and summer arts camps in county and city parks, free “Family ARTSVentures!” curricula-based school performances followed by the same artists performing spring and fall concerts for the whole family, critically acclaimed gallery exhibits at the historic Roberts-Mozley House, and many more special events like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
