The Talitha Cumi Girls Mentor Program presents: ‘Mind Your Manners’. A 2-hour introductory workshop for girls age 7 to 17 will learn and discuss the importance of good hygiene, table manners, and basic etiquette. Do you want your girls to learn nice ways of treating other people? Do you want your girls to have the manners of a lady? Do you want her to behave at the dinner table? There will be practice, role play, activities, and games… It will be educational and full of FUN! We will cover the following topics: Body Basics – from personal hygiene to grooming First Good Impression – image and body language Social Skills – essentials, do’s and don’ts

Join Beyond the Front Porch as we take a step back in time as we enjoy a four hour railway excursion along the beautiful Toccoa River from Blue Ridge to McCaysville. The rail adventure is a two hour 26 mile round trip, with a two hour layover to have lunch and explore the state line attractions of Georgia and Tennessee.. This activity, transportation and lunch is FREE for students on free/reduced lunch and $25 for all others.
