Youth 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament @ Arbor Place Mall

We host 3 on 3, double elimination, basketball tournaments that take place at outdoor public areas. We cater to youth ages 8-18.

Each team of 3-5 players’ battle through a series of double elimination rounds with the top teams in each division receiving trophies at the end of the day. The divisions are broken down by age (8-11, 12-14, & 15-18) the tournament is coed and we highly encourage girl participation.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt, meal, and drink. The director and staff of the tournament have a passion for basketball and outdoor activities for youth. We promote physical fitness activities for youth.

The tournament is FREE to all students ages 8-18. Please also pass the word to students and people that want to volunteer.

Join Beyond the Front Porch as our students explore a 120,000 square foot museum located in Cartersville, Georgia, where guests are invited to See America’s Story through contemporary Western artwork, a Presidential Gallery, Civil War art gallery, and Sagebrush Ranch, an interactive children’s gallery. This Smithsonian Affiliate Institution has been open since August 2003, Booth Museum is the only museum of its kind in the Southeast and is the second largest art museum in the state of Georgia. This activity, transportation and lunch is FREE for students on free/reduced lunch and $25 for all others.

Helen Ga Tubing provides your tube, US Coast Guard approved life preserver, and shuttle service. Join Beyond the Front Porch as we tour a series of underground geologic caves with a sound, light and water show located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Childersburg, AL. For an additional cost students can participate in amusement park attractions including the Lost Trail Maze, gemstone panning, wall climbing and more. This activity, transportation and lunch is FREE for students on free/reduced lunch and $25 for all others.

Join Beyond the Front Porch as we tour Zoo Atlanta that houses over 1,500 animals representing more than 220 species. The zoo is home to the nation’s largest zoological collections of gorillas and orangutans and is one of only four zoos in the U.S. currently housing giant pandas. This activity, transportation and lunch is FREE for students on free/reduced lunch and $25 for all others.

Join Beyond the Front Porch as we visit The Jimmy Carter Library and Museum in Atlanta, Georgia that houses U.S. President Jimmy Carter‘s papers and other material relating to the Carter administration and the Carter family’s life. The library also hosts special exhibits, such as Carter’s Nobel Peace Prize and a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, including a copy of the Resolute Desk. The building housing the library and museum makes up 69,750 square feet, with 15,269 square feet of space for exhibits and 19,818 square feet of archive and storage space. The library stacks house 27 million pages of documents; 500,000 photos, and 40,000 objects, along with films, videos, and audiotapes. These collections cover all areas of the Carter administration, from foreign and domestic policy to the personal lives of President and Mrs. Carter. This activity, transportation and lunch is FREE for students on free/reduced lunch and $25 for all others.
